- Western comic-book look with cinematic lighting
- Your heroes stay consistent from cover to last page
- Lettered, shareable pages in minutes
CLASSIC COMIC-BOOK ENERGY, ON DEMAND
Western comics are about impact: bold, semi-realistic figures, dramatic lighting, dynamic poses and splash moments that make you turn the page. Superheroes, villains, sci-fi crews and street-level vigilantes all live in this style.
Drawing a full comic page means pencilling, inking, colouring and lettering — days of work per page. Mankai's AI comic generator does all four. Write your story, choose your heroes, and Mankai lays out cinematic comic pages with dialogue in place.
Your hero keeps the same face and costume across the whole issue, so a quick idea can grow into an ongoing series.

AN AI COMIC GENERATOR THAT WORKS FROM TEXT
Most comic generators make one image at a time and leave the rest to you. Mankai is a comic generator from text: you write the story in plain words — the hero, the threat, the twist — and Mankai turns it into a complete comic book, with panel layouts, consistent characters and speech bubbles already placed.
It works for full stories and for short comic strips alike. Make a 2-page gag, a 4-page origin story, or an 18-page issue, then continue the series in a new episode with the same cast.
PUT YOURSELF IN A COMIC BOOK
Upload a photo and Mankai creates a character that looks like you, drawn in bold comic-book style. Turn your friends into a superhero team, your family into a sci-fi crew, or your partner into the star of a one-of-a-kind birthday comic.
Because Mankai keeps faces consistent, the photo characters stay recognisable on every page — which is what makes a personalised comic feel special.
FROM IDEA TO MANGA IN THREE STEPS
- 01
Pick the Comic Book style
Mankai switches to bold, semi-realistic art with four panels per page and cinematic lighting.
- 02
Choose your cast
Pick up to 8 characters — Mankai's preset heroes or your own, created from a photo. Their faces stay the same on every page, so your story reads like a real series.
- 03
Write the issue
Describe the plot or tap Inspire Me. Mankai plans the scenes, draws the pages and letters the dialogue.
COMIC IDEAS TO GET YOU GOING

“A team of retired heroes gets one last call when their old nemesis escapes prison.”
“A thief steals a mysterious artefact and discovers it's a key to a parallel city.”
START WITH A CHARACTER — OR BRING YOUR OWN
Pick one of Mankai’s preset heroes, or upload a photo and turn yourself, a friend or your original character into the lead. The same face stays consistent on every page.
